Everything teachers need for Movin’March can be found on our Kura Kete website - read on for resources for whānau and community who have kids involved in Movin'March!

Ko tā Māehe Haere he whakatairanga i ngā hua o te hīkoikoi, pānukunuku me te kake paiki ki te kura.

Movin’March continues to embrace the benefits of walking and wheeling to primary schools across the Wellington region. Below you can find resources for whānau and communities to support the many benefits of active travel in their neighbourhoods.

See if your school is registered by checking the list on Kura Kete. Schools are the ones who register for Movin'March, not parents, so if your school isn't there then talk to your classroom teacher or school office to see if they’d like to take part.

Celebrating 10+ years of Movin'March!

In 2015 Greater Wellington made a video celebrating Māehe Manawa Ora Movin'March, an annual programme which promotes walking, scooting, and biking to school.

Movin’March continues to encourage tamariki to choose active ways of getting to school. This story looks at what that impact can look like over time.
