See Wainuiomata Regional Park from a new perspective.
Bring your team of four to Wainuiomata Regional Park for a treasure hunt! You’ll need to work together to crack codes and unlock the boxes. You’ll explore tracks through old growth forest, gum trees, and enchanting meadows. How many challenges can you complete?
This treasure hunt is for all ages, including kids, teenagers and adults. Each team must include at least one participant over 14 years old.
This event is created and delivered by the family adventure experts Everyone Out.
Book your place and let the hunt begin! You can enter a team of 2 to 4 members.

Please bring snacks and water bottles for your team.

Please bring a pen or pencil to complete the treasure hunt.

Dress in weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. Be prepared for a hot day with sun protection, or a wet day with waterproof and windproof layers.
Timetable:
1:30pm – Registration near Wainuiomata Regional Park public carpark. Follow the signs.
1:55pm – Your challenge briefing.
2:00pm – Start your treasure hunt!
4:00pm – Finish your hunt and sign out.
4:15pm – Something for everyone!
You can park at the main entrance of Wainuiomata Regional Park if driving. Or take Metlink route 170 from Lower Hutt to Wainuiomata South – Hine Road.
