Event details
Embark on this exciting mountain biking adventure, whether you're exploring new trails or revisiting old favorites. Skip the ride up, and cash in miles of smiles as you descend a variety of mountain bike trails in Belmont Regional Park.
Join us at the Woolshed, where, from 10:00 AM onwards, shuttles will be departing every half hour to take you uphill and save your energy for the exhilaration of the downhill ride.
For just a $20 you’ll get unlimited uplifts on the shuttle with the proceeds going towards the Belmont Area Mountain Bike Association (BAMBA) to help fund track maintenance, future track rebuilds and development to create a world class public mountain bike area.
There's a diverse range of mountain bike tracks suitable for all skill levels*. Members of BAMBA will be on hand throughout the event to provide valuable advice and guidance.
Bring your bike, a helmet and some cash for the fundraising sausage sizzle... and enjoy the great outdoors, whether you're a seasoned rider or a beginner. See you on the trails!
*Please note that mountain biking is inherently dangerous, and all riders will want to be very comfortable with the basics of riding offroad to have a good time. This is not a learn to ride day, but a great opportunity to progress your skills. That said, there is a skills area close to the Woolshed on Stratton Street where new riders are very welcome to experience berms, drops and jumps in a safe context before they take the leap into singletrack riding.
