Bring your class to Kaitoke

The best place to study and learn about ecosystems, our place in the natural world and how we affect nature is outdoors. Through environmental education, individuals learn to appreciate and care for the natural world.

Kaitoke Regional Park is a great place for a school excursion. The park ranger is available for up to two hours free of charge to guide walking tours in the rainforest. The tours also include visits to the water intake weir, flume bridge and strainer house. Please contact him to arrange a suitable time. These tours are subject to availability and the Park Rangers schedule.

Should you wish to stay longer, the campsite is ideal for school groups. Camping fees are $3 per night for children under 16 (under 5 years old is free) and $6 per night for adults.
