Requested Information:

“Strangely your information is not in line with the information I received from Metlinks Customer Resolution staff member Ms Goodman. Ie as at March 4th 2025 it was recorded that this bus in question (220 leaving Titahi Bay at 750am weekdays) had been canceled three times since term start (Jan 2025), not the two times you have provided me being 27 & 28 February. Can you clarify why there is a difference?
Furthermore, are you the correct person to ask for further official requests of information regarding bus services?
If not, please provide me the correct email/ process to request information and/ or forward it to the correct person.
I will need to request further details about services so as to gain an indepth understanding about the patronage of this Public Bus with School Extension as well as the other dedicated school bus service 440 - Waitangarua shops to Aotea College.
You are welcome to give insight or guidance as to how the questions should be posed to you so that the inherent information you can provide me is beneficial for both myself (on behalf of the school students and parents) as well as for yourself when you are utilizing I assume a search function, to provide the results (rather than stating the questions cannot be provided answers as they are posed in a challenging way).
I will have questions such as these below:

Regarding bus route 220 that leaves Titahi Bay at 750am on weekdays only AND extends to Aotea College during term weeks;
I require information for 4 whole school term periods starting term 3 2024:
1. How many passengers that are students (classified as tagging on with a Child/ student snapper, or cash, or adult passengers whom disembark at Aotea College) are using this bus daily?
2. For these 'student' (or College-bound adult paying) passengers where are the majority embarking the bus?
I'd like patron numbers provide in terms of embarking at stops including and between given bus stop numbers
a) prior to Porirua Cental (between stop 2821 and 2030 ,
b) from Porirua Train stop (2003)
c) from Ranui Shops to Cannons Creek shops (2100 to 2110),
d) from Cannons Creek shops to Waitangarua shops (2112 to 2122),
e) from Waitangarua shops to Ascot Park playground (stop 2124 to 2128),
f) from Ascot Park playground (stop 2130 to final destination of Aotea College)
3. What number is the furthest stop along this bus route (from its starting stop Titahi Bay) does any student travel from (and disembark at Aotea College) or has ever traveled from in 2024 and 2025?
4. Of the daily total number of student passengers, how many embark the journey from Ascot Park Playground stop 2130 onwards?
5. How many passengers whom are not classified as Students & not disembarking at Aotea College use this bus (7.50am) daily on average?
6. For these 'adult' passengers, what is the trend for the majority of these passengers embarking and disembarking? - is it perhaps between Titahi Bay and Porirua Central (up to & including stop 2003), or are Adult passengers traveling from Porirua central (stops 2022, 2026, 2028 and 2003) up to Ranui (stops as far as 2100), Cannons Creekside (stops as far as 2112), Waitangarua (stops as far as 2112) or Ascot Park (2130 and beyond)?
7. How many passengers on average weekly, use the prior departing bus? Ie leaves Titahi Bay at 730am
How often between September 1 2024 and August 31 2025 has this bus been canceled?
8. How many passengers on average use the bus departing directly afterwards? Ie leaves Titahi Bay 810am

How often between September 1 2024 and August 31 2025 has this bus been canceled?
9. Of these above mentioned two services (directly prior and directly afterwards), is the majority of the passengers traveling between Titahi Bay and Porirua Central, or Porirua Central and Waitangarua/ Ascot Park or is there a different trend?
10. I also have questions about the school dedicated bus service mornings route 440.
Questions will be around
a) daily patronage,
b) cancelations,
c) most popular embarking stops,
d) very specifically how many students embark on the bus stop 2778? This is the only one stop between where the usual 220 bus route deviates OFF Warspite Ave and travels around what many people regard as the "Conclusion Street Loop", then links back on to Warspite Ave.
e) what is the size requirement for this bus?
f) what the costs associated for this am bus - and if the costs cannot be given then what, if any, the difference in cost is between a dedicated school bus service route and a non dedicated bus route?
g) what the official contingency plan is IF the scheduled driver/ bus is not available - ie what is the protocol in place that this school bus goes ahead no matter if the usual driver or bus is unavailable?
h) how are dedicated school bus routes approved/ planned/ paid for?”
