Search in document libraryThe Urban Design Toolkit provides a vision for more resilient, connected communities through integrated urban design. This highly visual and accessible toolkit is designed for non-experts and aims to support communities, local government, iwi and hapū and developers to influence urban design and development to achieve enhanced liveability and reduced car dependency. Drawing on both national and international exemplars, it presents four urban scenarios from a single site through to town centre scale and offers a suite of interventions applicable both to a new development and a renewal context.
