Wellington Regional Biodiversity Framework
The Wellington Regional Biodiversity Framework project aims to strengthen and better connect the work we’re all doing to improve our environment.
In 2019 an independent collaborative working group, now known as Mauri Tūhono ki te Upoko o te Ika, was established which includes members from agencies, mana whenua and community groups to develop the framework.
The group is expecting to start consulting on a draft framework by late 2021. For more information, head to the Have Your Say page.
