Proposal:

Resene Paints Limited (the applicant) own and operates a solvent paint manufacturing plant located at the intersection of Fergusson Drive and Montgomery Crescent, Upper Hutt. Resene Paints Limited hold a resource consent (WGN160337) from Greater Wellington Regional Council which authorises the discharge to air from its solvent based paints manufacturing operation. The applicant has applied for a change to their existing resource consent. The change sought is an increase in the limit for the discharge of odour-producing volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Change of resource consent conditions under s127 of the Resource Management Act 1991 to discharge permit WGN160337 [34175] – To discharge contaminants to air associated with an existing solvent-based paint manufacturing operation.
