Logging operations

During operational hours from 4.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday) Plantation Forests are closed for recreational use.

Forestry operational work sites are off limits for recreational use at all times. Please adhere to signage and use caution.

Each week an Event Calendar is produced for the Akatarawa and Pakuratahi Forests which notes these operations and any hazards that may be encountered.
